These two sides meet on Saturday in desperate need of points to turn around some poor form. These Atalanta vs. Udinese predictions suggest it will be the home side that is happier with the outcome.

Atalanta vs. Udinese odds

1 – Atalanta to win – 8/13

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 4/5

3 – Both teams to score – 4/5

4 – Rasmus Højlund to score at any time – 7/4

5 – Atalanta to win 2-1 – 15/2

Gian Piero Gasperini was very unhappy with his team’s performance against Milan on Sunday and will look at this home game as the perfect opportunity to halt a losing streak and get back in the race for a Champions League spot. La Dea have won just once in their last three games.

The Bergamo side were very much second best against the Rossoneri and the result was even more of a blow after the defeat to struggling Lecce the week before. There are injuries for Gasperini to deal with but he would have hoped to have been doing better.

A win should be achievable here on Saturday though. It could be tight and many will look to top goalscorer Ademola Lookman to supply the firepower. But Rasmus Højlund has been making a vital contribution in recent weeks and looks better value to find the net at anytime.

Udinese will definitely make a game of this one, however. The Zebrette have only managed to win one Serie A game since the beginning of October, but have been involved in goal-filled games in recent weeks.

The draw with Spezia last weekend is a perfect example of how frustrating it must be for head coach Andrea Sottil. It looked like a good chance for his side to get back to winning ways but they could not deal with M’Bala Nzola.

Even a draw for Udinese away from home would probably be a good result here, but they could well be disappointed again – and fall further away from the European places.

Atalanta team news

Gasperini will have been upset by the result at the San Siro but will see little point in messing about with his starting XI. Duván Zapata remains injured but Luis Muriel probably have to make do with a place on the bench, as Ademola Lookman and Rasmus Højlund are the preferred partnership up front.

Udinese team news

Andrea Sottil will also not tinker too much with his team, although he will have to bring in Festy Ebosele for the suspended Kingsley Ehizibue. New signing Florian Thauvin may come on from the bench later on.
