The restructuring work on the existing Stadio Azzurri d’Italia in Bergamo will begin next month, meaning the final two home games of the season will be played at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio-Emilia, where Sassuolo host their matches.

While Atalanta push for Champions League qualification and will play the Coppa Italia Final against Lazio on May 15, the club is building up its profile off the field too.
A Press conference was held with the local Mayor to confirm the newly-refurbished structure will be called the Gewiss Arena and should be ready for the 2021-22 season.
It’ll begin on April 30 with the dismantling of the Curva Pisani, which can then be demolished on May 7.
The Curva Morosini will be finalised in the summer of 2020 and the Ubi section in 2021.
The overall cost will be circa €40m, divided into three phases.
Another announcement was made, that the new Atalanta youth academy building will be named after Mino Favini, the historic chief of the academy who died this week after 25 years at the club.
