Atalanta are now exploring a move to sign Italy international Raoul Bellanova from Torino, as their deal with Brazilian outfit Flamengo for Wesley França has stalled, according to Tuesday’s updates.

Atalanta explore Bellanova and Cuadrado options

As per Sky and Gianluca Di Marzio, Flamengo are hoping to use Wesley in their next few league matches in Brazil, despite agreeing a €20m package with Atalanta over the weekend. If that is the case, then La Dea might be pressed for time before the close of the summer transfer window in Italy.

Preparing for a situation where the deal for Wesley does not go through, Atalanta have begun exploring a move for Bellanova instead.

Torino and President Urbano Cairo are reportedly seeking a fee of at least €20m for the right wing-back, which puts him in a similar price bracket to Flamengo’s Wesley.

Somewhat surprisingly, a low-cost option alternative could be former Juventus and Inter winger Juan Cuadrado. The 36-year old is available as a free agent after leaving the Nerazzurri at the end of his one-year contract at the end of June.
