Atalanta intend to sign midfielder Mario Pasalic permanently on a five-year contract, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pasalic is on a 2-year loan deal with La Dea from Premier League side Chelsea.
The Croatian has developed into a key player for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, and has scored five times in Serie A this season from 23 appearances.
La Gazzetta journalist Nicolo Schira suggests that La Dea will redeem Pasalic at the end of the season, paying Chelsea €15m for the 25-year-old’s services.
