Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund is a transfer target for Chelsea and Manchester United, so after signing with a new agent, confessed ‘we’ll have to see’ where he goes this summer.

The centre-forward was snapped up from Sturm Graz last summer for €17.2m and his value on the transfer market has already comfortably trebled.

That is thanks to a season with Atalanta that saw him score nine Serie A goals with four assists in 32 games, helping them reach fifth place and therefore qualify for the Europa League.

There were reports in The Athletic that Hojlund had signed with agency SEG, who also represent Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, which could be a hint about his next transfer.

“It’s a trial period and that’s all I can say,” he told Tipsbladet while on international duty with Denmark.

The 20-year-old centre-forward is certainly not shying away from the reports of Manchester United interest.

“It is a huge club, so I must have done something right if it’s rumoured they want me. We have to see what happens. From what we all hear, I imagine a lot could happen to quite a few strikers this summer, as many clubs are looking for a Number 9. Something will definitely happen there, and then we’ll have to wait and see if I am included in it.

“I am very happy to be with Atalanta and we have qualified for Europe, so now we have to wait and see,”

However, Hojlund has denied reports he had video calls with Manchester United manager Ten Hag.
