Atalanta have signed Emil Holm from Spezia, but Alessandro Buongiorno has snubbed a move to the Geiwss Stadium, remaining at Torino.

La Dea has just confirmed the purchase of Sweden right wing-back Holm from Spezia. The 23-year-old joins the Serie A side on loan with an option to buy.

Holm is not expected to be Atalanta’s only signing in the last 24 hours of the summer transfer window, but Torino’s Buongiorno won’t move to Bergamo.

The Nerazzurri were in advanced talks with Torino but Buongiorno, a product of the club’s academy and a Granata fan, has refused to join Atalanta.

Duvan Zapata is still expected to move to Torino but has changed the date of his medical, which he will undergo on Friday after the arrival of his agent in Turin, reports Sky Sport transfer expert Luca Cilli.

Lastly, Atalanta have loaned out Roberto Piccoli to Lecce until the end of the season. The Giallorossi have an option to make the striker’s move permanent at the end of the season.
