Juventus will have to challenge Premier League duo Tottenham and Manchester United for key summer target Teun Koopmeiners.

The Old Lady have long identified the 25-year-old Dutch midfielder as their primary target for the coming summer transfer window, believing him to be the perfect fit for Massimiliano Allegri’s squad. Talks have already been opened with Atalanta and the player’s agent Bart Baving.

Koopmeiners has been one of the most exciting midfielders in Serie A this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 19 league games. Contracted to Atalanta until June 2027, the Bergamo outfit have a strong platform for negotiations in the summer.

Page four of today’s Tuttosport details how Tottenham and Manchester United have also come forward for Koopmeiners, looking to compete with Juventus.

Atalanta are hoping for a bidding war and want at least €60m for the 25-year-old Dutchman, who is ready to make the next step in his career.

Napoli offered €48m for Koopmeiners last summer, which was instantly rejected by the Bergamo side, who are aware that they don’t need to offer any discounts on the rising star.
