Atalanta are on the verge of reinvesting the Rasmus Hojlund profit with a huge double deal for Milan midfielder Charles De Ketelaere and West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca, beating Inter to his signature.

Manchester United will unveil Hojlund this weekend as their new player, having completed the transfer from Atalanta for €75m plus another €10m in add-ons.

La Dea are not sitting on that money, immediately pumping it back into reinforcing the squad.

Multiple sources are confident they have a deal in place with Milan to sign De Ketelaere on loan for €3m with option to buy for another €23m at the end of the season.

There is also interest from Real Sociedad and Wolfsburg, amongst others, but De Ketelaere wants to prove himself in Serie A after a dismal debut season.

Meanwhile, today Atalanta leapfrogged past Inter in the race for West Ham striker Scamacca.

Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia warn Inter will not go beyond their proposal of €24m plus another €4m in bonuses, whereas Atalanta can match the €30m asking price including add-ons.
