Atalanta are cutting down their over-sized squad, loaning three players to Spezia, one to Genoa and another is sold to Cagliari.
La Dea qualified for the Champions League for the third year running, but have numerous players out on loan around Serie A.
That trend will continue this season too, as Sky Sport Italia report they have a triple deal at an advanced stage with Spezia.
Striker Roberto Piccoli, full-back Arkadiusz Reca and forward Ebrima Colley are all ready to join Spezia, where they can get regular playing time and increase their value on the transfer market.
Piccoli already spent last season on loan with Spezia, while Colley was at Verona and Reca in Crotone.
A similar approach is hoped for Sam Lammers, who complained he got very little action with Atalanta during his debut Serie A season.
The 24-year-old Dutch centre-forward is heading towards Genoa on loan, a year after he was signed for €7m from PSV Eindhoven.
Atalanta have already completed one sale, with goalkeeper Borus Radunovic joining Cagliari in a permanent deal.
