Atalanta will play at the newly-renovated Gewiss Stadium for the first time this weekend against Lecce.

Atalanta have begun the season playing their Serie A games at Parma’s Stadio Tardini and Champions League matches at San Siro due to the Curva Norda at the Azzurri d’Italia undergoing reconstruction work.

However, that work has now been completed and the Dea can move back into their usual home, which has been renamed the Gewiss Stadium, starting on Sunday.

However, that work has now been completed and the Dea can move back into their usual home, which has been renamed the Gewiss Stadium, starting on Sunday.

The arena is still in the process of being revamped with new stands, seating areas and roof, which are not scheduled for completion until the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign.

It is worth pointing out that this change only applies to domestic competitions, so Atalanta will continue playing their European fixtures at San Siro.
