Inter have agreed personal terms with Duvan Zapata and are offering €30m plus bonuses, but it’s reported Atalanta won’t let him leave without a strong replacement.

The Nerazzurri have already brought in Edin Dzeko from Roma practically for free, but need another striker to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku’s €115m transfer to Chelsea.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, Duvan Zapata remains the first choice and his agent has already worked out personal terms with the club.

Atalanta have set an asking price of at least €40-50m and so far the offer is believed to be €30m plus €5-6m in bonuses.

However, La Dea won’t sell their top scorer from last season without a suitable replacement and that is proving extremely difficult.

Tammy Abraham had been targeted, but the Chelsea forward had his medical with Roma at the weekend instead.

Andrea Belotti of Torino is not only unconvincing, but also sustained an ankle ligament injury during the Coppa Italia match with Cremonese.

If Atalanta refuse to budge, then Inter could turn back towards Simone Inzaghi’s preferred choice, Joaquin Correa of Lazio.
