Manolo Gabbiadini will either play for Atalanta or Juventus in the new campaign, say the Bergamo club.

The Italian Under-21 international, co-owned between the two sides, spent 2012-13 on loan at Bologna.

“There will be no problems with Juventus,” Atalanta director general Pierpaolo Marino told Sport Italia.

“The co-ownership agreement between us will be renewed, but there will be no chance that he will be loaned to a third club.

“If he doesn’t find any room at Juve then he can play here in Bergamo. There are no issues with boss Stefano Colantuono as the Coach has actually requested him.”

Gabbiadini, still only 21, scored six goals in 30 League appearances for the Stadio Dall’Ara outfit in the last campaign.

“He is an important player who has only illustrated 30 per cent of his potential,” Marino continued. “Juve signed half of his contract for €5m and I don’t think his value has decreased.”

The transfer rumour mill has suggested that Juventus could offer forward Gabbiadini to Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”32″>Fiorentina or Torino as part of bids for Stevan Jovetic and Angelo Ogbonna.
