Atalanta have started preparing a third offer for Celtic talent Matt O’Riley as they look to beat out Juventus and other interested clubs.

La Dea have already sent in two offers to the Scottish club for the 23-year-old, with the first totalling around €15m, which was far off his €30m price tag. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side aren’t willing to give up, believing the Denmark international would be the perfect fit.

In the meantime, Juventus have been hard at work trying to reach a deal with Atalanta for Teun Koopmeiners and talks have now stalled, prompting Cristiano Giuntoli to start exploring alternatives, including O’Riley.

Atalanta new offer for O’Riley

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Atalanta are drawing up a third offer to Celtic for O’Riley, who has already agreed to the terms of a long-term contract and is now waiting for an agreement to be reached between the clubs.

Intermediary Blash Hosseini is hard at work facilitating the talks and the hope is to beat out the interested Juventus soon.
