It’s reported Atalanta will be without Robin Gosens for at least a month after he suffered a thigh strain against Young Boys.

The German international crumpled to the ground clutching the back of his right leg just 10 minutes into last night’s 1-0 Champions League victory.

It immediately became clear this was a serious injury, as he left the field in tears, helped off by two members of the medical staff.

According to the latest reports from Tuttomercatoweb and Sky Sport Italia, tests showed a relatively serious lesion.

Gosens is expected to be out of action for around a month, so could miss one or both the upcoming Champions League clashes with Manchester United.
