Juventus and Atalanta meet in the Coppa Italia Final tonight and Gazzetta describes the huge differences between the two clubs, especially in terms of trophies and wage bill.

Juventus can win their first trophy in three years tonight, while Atalanta hope to lift the first piece of silverware since 1963.

The Old Lady has a richer history than La Dea, but Gian Piero Gasperini men’s recent form suggests the Nerazzurri are favourites at the Stadio Olimpico tonight.

Trophies and wage bill: differences between Juventus and Atalanta

Numbers show that Juventus players have more experience than Atalanta’s. La Gazzetta highlights that the Bianconeri footballers have won 146 trophies combined and that Adrien Rabiot alone has won almost as many cups (25) as the entire Atalanta squad (30).

The difference in terms of experience and trophies is also reflected in the coaches: Max Allegri has won 13 cups in his career as a professional coach and Gasp still has none.

Last but not least, Atalanta’s wage bill for 2023-24 is €40m gross, while Juventus have paid €190m in salaries this term, more than any other team in the league.
