Follow the very last match of the 2023-24 Serie A campaign as Atalanta host Fiorentina at the Gewiss Stadium, hoping to finish third above Juventus.
It kicks off at 18:00 CET in Bergamo.
The match was originally scheduled for March 17, but it was called off after the Tuscans’ director, Joe Barone, was rushed to the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan due to a heart attack. Barone tragically passed away two days later.
Atalanta are without the injured Marten de Roon and Sead Kolasinac for this fixture, while Riccardo Sottil and the suspended Rolando Mandragora are out of action for Fiorentina.
The mood is very different as Atalanta already qualified for the Champions League and even won the Europa League last week, while Fiorentina lost the second Consecutive Conference League Final and will play the last game under their coach who is expected to leave at the end of the season.
However, La Dea still have something to play for as a win would allow them to finish third in the Serie A table, below Inter and Milan.
Italy internationals Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini will join the national team in Coverciano tomorrow. The defender starts against Fiorentina today, while the striker initially goes on the bench.
