The FIGC Sporting Judge has fined Atalanta €10,000 after their fans targeted Inter striker Edin Dzeko with racist chants on Sunday, but Milan and Genoa have also been punished.

The chants reportedly came from the Curva Nord, and the 35-year-old Bosnian forward was not afraid to react, shutting up the home crowd with his gestures.

The FIGC inspectors reported the chants at the Gewiss Stadium, so the Sporting Judge has fined Atalanta €10,000.

Milan were also fined €3,000 as some Rossoneri fans threw a plastic bottle on the pitch at minute 48 in the second half.

Last but not least, Genoa will have to pay €5,000 as their players deliberately delayed the kick off by three minutes and the second half by a further five.

Andrea Carboni (Cagliari), Danilo Cataldi (Lazio), Danilo Maggiore (Spezia), Leonardo Pavoletti (Cagliari), Luca Ranieri (Salernitana), Bakary Adam Soumaoro (Bologna) will be suspended in the next round after collecting their fifth yellow card this season.

Napoli staff member Simone Beccaccioli has been suspended for deliberately throwing a ball inside the pitch, trying to waste time in the second half of yesterday’s match against Bologna.
