Charles De Ketelaere is on the verge of switching Milan for Atalanta as the final paperwork is finally being drawn up.

The Rossoneri agreed the terms of a deal with la Dea weeks ago but negotiations with the 22-year-old proved difficult, with wages and commissions slowing down the talks.

After multiple meetings, De Ketelaere has finally agreed terms with Atalanta and a move is now set to be completed in the coming days.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how the involved parties are now reviewing all the paperwork before pen is put to paper. De Ketelaere is now just a step away from leaving Milan for Atalanta, moving on loan with a buy option attached.

His medicals will be scheduled soon and may take place on Wednesday or Thursday this week, allowing him to join the squad before the start of the Serie A season.

Atalanta will pay Milan €3m for the loan and the buy option is set at €22m plus €4m in add-ons, with a 10% future resale clause also attached.
