Atalanta announced that Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has extended his contract to 2021 with option to 2022.
The tactician has been in Bergamo since the summer of 2016 and tomorrow will be his 100th competitive match with the club.
“Gasperini is a key figure for us and that is why we extended his contract by another year,” Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi told L’Eco di Bergamo newspaper.
“The agreement is there, we just need to make it official. Atalanta’s project is growing and Gasperini plays a decisive role in that.
