Atalanta are on the verge of securing AZ Alkmaar midfielder Teun Koopmeiners and getting closer to Charles De Ketelaere of Club Brugge too.

According to Sportitalia, La Dea are shopping in the Low Countries for reinforcements after qualifying for the Champions League for the third year running.

The first target is 23-year-old midfielder Koopmeiners, who has already agreed personal terms and is on the verge of completing the move after Atalanta raised their offer to €15m plus bonuses.

He certainly has an eye for goal, scoring 17 in 40 competitive games this season, along with seven assists.

The same report by Alfredo Pedullà maintains Atalanta are also closing on Club Brugge creative midfielder De Ketelaere.

There are suggestions in Belgium of an imminent deal, also worth €15m, and it’s possible the Bergamo club could sign them both.
