Atalanta have reportedly made a move for Jeremie Boga, but Sassuolo are asking for at least €25m.

The Ivory Coast international has excelled at the Mapei Stadium after arriving from Chelsea in July 2018.

The 24-year-old has since scored 18 goals in 92 competitive games with the Neroverdi, where he has spent three seasons under Roberto De Zerbi.

But De Zerbi moved to Shakhtar Donetsk this summer and Alessio Dionisi has replaced him at the helm and Sassuolo have started the season in a positive way.

Crystal Palace in talks with Sassuolo for Boga

Manuel Locatelli has left the club and signed with Juventus, while Domenico Berardi and Jeremie Boga have been linked with possible departures.

Berardi, however, seems set to stay in Reggio-Emilia, but Boga is rumoured to be on his way out the door.

In the Premier League, Crystal Palace are looking at him as a possible target, but Atalanta are now hoping to keep Boga in Serie A.

Tuttomercatoweb reports Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have contacted Sassuolo, willing to make an important economic effort to sign the Ivorian.

But Sassuolo are, according to the report, asking for at least €25m and have targeted a move for Junior Messias to replace Boga this week.

The outlet claims Boga is not interested in a move to Crystal Palace, but Atalanta, who will play in the Champions League, is a destination that could please the Sassuolo star.
