Merih Demiral could leave Juventus for €35-40m and both Atalanta and Tottenham are interested in securing his services.

Demiral joined Juventus from Sassuolo in 2019 but has never been a regular starter due to competition from Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt.

According to several reports in Italy, either he or Radu Dragusin will leave the Old Lady in the summer with Massimiliano Allegri planning to replace one of the departing defenders with Fiorentina‘s Nikola Milenkovic.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Bianconeri want at least €40m to sell the 23-year-old while Sportmediaset reports €30m could be enough to secure the services of the former Sassuolo man.

The broadcaster report Tottenham have set their sights on the Turkish centre-back as new Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici knows him well and the same is true of Paulo Fonseca who will be appointed as new Tottenham coach in the coming days.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta have also set their sights on Demiral, but his €1.8m-a-year salary may be unaffordable for the Serie A side.

La Dea bought Cristian Romero from Juventus last summer and the Argentinean was named the best Serie A defender in 2020-21.
