Atalanta have agreed to the terms of a deal for Alessandro Buongiorno and Torino are close to picking up Duvan Zapata and Brandon Soppy, reports suggest.

La Dea have worked hard to bolster their squad this summer following last season’s fifth place finish, picking up players like Gianluca Scamacca, El Bilal Toure and Charles De Ketelaere.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side sold breakout star Rasmus Hojlund to Manchester United last month but hope their transfer market business will be enough to put them in contention for a top four finish and Champions League qualification.

As reported by DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando and other outlets, Atalanta have agreed to sign Buongiorno from Torino in a deal worth around €25m.

Going the other way is Zapata, who is set to head to the Piedmont capital in a deal worth circa €8m. Also being completed is Brandon Soppy’s loan move to the Granata, adding two key reinforcements to Ivan Juric’s squad.

Atalanta are also working on closing out a deal for Spezia talent Emil Holm, who has attracted attention from clubs like Juventus and Brighton.
