Inter are ready to sell Denzel Dumfries in the summer and Aston Villa have reportedly emerged to register their interest in the Dutchman.

The Nerazzurri’s delicate financial position means one first team player will need to be sold in the summer in order to help bring in some reinforcements, with a new striker one of the club’s top priorities.

Dumfries had a good World Cup with the Netherlands in Qatar but has looked less convincing for Inter this season, cooling off the interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

TMW details how Aston Villa are seriously interested in picking up Dumfries in the summer and have already sounded out a move for the Inter full back.

Unai Emery can only rely on Matty Cash in the role and the English-Polish defender is currently dealing with a calf injury, forcing the Villans to rely on an aging Ashley Young. This is why Emery wants a new right back in the summer and Dumfries is one of their top targets.
