Spanish newspaper Diario AS claims Cristiano Ronaldo still wants to leave Juventus, heading to either PSG or back to Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

This is the final season of his contract with the Old Lady and vice-president Pavel Nedved assured he is staying for 2021-22.

However, Italian, French and Spanish papers continue to maintain Ronaldo believes his time in Turin is over and he is looking for an exit.

With Manchester United seemingly ruled out, Paris Saint-Germain had been mentioned as the most likely option.

It’d be only if they sold Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid, but Diario AS come up with an alternative theory.

If Real Madrid cannot afford Mbappé, then they will see Ronaldo as an alternative big name to boost their front line.

CR7 would not have come back to the Merengues, but the situation has changed with the return of coach Carlo Ancelotti, who has a strong rapport with the 36-year-old Portuguese striker.

He is as prolific as ever, scoring 36 goals in 44 competitive games for Juventus last season, taking the Capocannoniere title with 29 goals in 33 Serie A matches, not to mention top scorer at UEFA EURO 2020.

Ronaldo had spent nine years at Real Madrid until his 2018 move to Juventus for €117m.
