Arthur’s struggles with injuries at Liverpool are causing trouble for Juventus, who will see the Brazilian midfielder return to Turin at the end of the season.

The former Barcelona midfielder has only made four appearances with the Reds this season, remaining out of action for more than four months after undergoing surgery in October.

The player’s agent Federico Pastorello has recently confirmed that Arthur will return to Juventus at the end of the season, but the 26-year-old is no longer in the Bianconeri’s plans, especially if Massimiliano Allegri stays beyond the summer.

As highlighted by Gazzetta, Arthur’s return to the Allianz Stadium is a big problem for Juventus, who will be forced to look for a new club for the midfielder in the summer.

Arthur joined Liverpool on a €4.5m loan deal with an option to buy for €37.5m. The issue for the Bianconeri is to find a new club willing to invest a similar fee in the former Barcelona man who signed for the Old Lady in 2020, completing a €76m transfer from Camp Nou.
