Arsenal are preparing to make a move for Victor Osimhen but it’ll take €100m to snap up the Napoli striker.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward had a strong season under Luciano Spalletti, netting 14 goals and providing five assists in 27 Serie A appearances this campaign. He proved himself to be one of the top strikers in Italy and it’s no surprise that a number of top European clubs have been keeping a close eye on him.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal are gearing up to enter talks with Napoli for Osimhen, keen to sign the €100m valued striker. Manchester United are also keen on a move but the Gunners hold the edge for the time being.
Things could be closed out later this month, allowing Napoli to immediately reinvest the funds and carry out a decent transfer window.
Arsenal are also facing serious competition from Spain, so they’ll need to send a top offer to convince the Partenopei.

I hope Osimhen stays at Napoli, but if Arsenal offers €100m that is an incredible deal. Napoli would get a top 10 transfer fee all-time for a guy who has scored a total of 1 goal against teams in the top 5 over the past two seasons.
