Arsenal are reportedly ready to match Fiorentina‘s economic demands for Dusan Vlahovic by offering €80m in January, but the player’s agents are not convinced about a move to North London.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Gunners have made Vlahovic their transfer priority for the winter transfer window and are ready to put €80m on the table to sign the 21-year-old striker.

Vlahovic has been linked with a host of top European clubs as he won’t extend his contract expiring in June 2023.

Back in October, Fiorentina patron Rocco Commisso revealed that the player had refused the club’s contract extension offer.

Vlahovic is on an €800,000-a-year deal at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and refused a €4m-a-year deal.

However, according to the report, the striker is in no rush to leave Florence and his agents are waiting for other offers, so they haven’t reached an agreement with the Premier League giants.

Italiano reveals truth about rumours linking Vlahovic with Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham

Juventus, Inter, Tottenham and Manchester City are reportedly interested in securing his services.

Fiorentina director Joe Barone refused to rule our Vlahovic’s exit in January.

The 21-year-old is one of the most prolific strikers in 2021. Only Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have scored more goals than him in Europe’s top five leagues.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano has claimed that rumours linking Vlahovic with a January exit are not credible and insisted the striker is committed to Fiorentina and wants to do well when the Tuscans face Juventus at the Allianz Stadium tomorrow.

2 thought on “Arsenal prepare big-money offer for Vlahovic in January”
  1. From what I know he`s juBentus bound… I would be surprised if anyone else will sign him. Fiorentina owner Rocco is a huge Rubentus fan so he will serve them another top player after Chiesa.

  2. Juve need Vlahovic more than any other team as we lack a 25+ goals-a-year striker now that Ronnie has left. Vlahovic knows he will get plenty of playing time at Juve where at places like Tottenham and Man City he may not get as much regular football. A forward line of Vlahovic, Dybala and Chiesa would be insane.
