Arsenal have reportedly entered the chase for Italy and Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The list of admirers for the Neroverdi midfielder is getting longer and longer with each day and the former Milan player has.
Juventus have seemed to lead the chase in Italy, but Locatelli said at a press conference that he will make a decision after Euro 2020, as he wants to stay focused on his tasks with the national team this summer.
But the 23-year-old has attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe and seems set to leave the Mapei Stadium.
The Sun reports Arsenal have joined the chase for the former Atalanta and Milan youth, who contributed four goals and three assists in his 34 Serie A games with the Neroverdi in 2020-21.
Locatelli started the 3-0 win over Turkey in the Azzurri’s Euro 2020 opener at the Olimpico on Friday, his 11th cap so far.
Marco Verratti is not expected to return in time for the match against Switzerland, meaning Locatelli could start also the second game of the European Championship.
