Arsenal have reportedly approached Juventus to explore a deal for Leeds United target Weston McKennie.

The Bianconeri are hoping to cash in on the 24-year-old American midfielder this month and have been in contact with a number of interested Premier League clubs, including Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Fulham.

None of these options convinced McKennie, but the player is open to a move to Jesse Marsch’s Leeds, who also own fellow Americans Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams. Talks between the Whites and Juventus are now ongoing.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal have also emerged to express their interest in McKennie, approaching Juventus to discuss a possible move before the closure of this month’s transfer window.

The Bianconeri are hoping to secure around €20-25m plus add-ons for the 24-year-old American midfielder, whose contract expires in June 2025.

This season, McKennie has scored three goals and provided two assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
