According to Sky Sport Italia, Arsenal are now open to allowing Hector Bellerin a loan with option to buy move for Inter.

The Gunners had until now resisted anything except a permanent transfer for the Spanish right-back, something that is beyond the Nerazzurri’s capabilities right now.

Bellerin is eager to make the switch to San Siro and try his hand at Italian football.

This evening, Sky Sport Italia report that Arsenal are finally ready to open the door to a loan deal with option to buy.

It’s likely that would then become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met throughout the 2021-22 season.

The 26-year-old came up through the Arsenal academy and his contract runs to June 2023.

Inter’s first choice remains Nahitan Nandez, but negotiations with Cagliari do not seem to be progressing as rapidly as hoped.

Nandez is not technically a wing-back, but can play on the right as well as in a more central midfield role in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
