Reports suggest that Arsenal have identified Inter Coach Roberto Mancini as their ideal candidate to replace Arsene Wenger.

Corriere dello Sport writes today that the Gunners are considering parting with their long-serving French manager if the North London club fail to qualify for the Champions League.

In the case of Wenger’s departure, the newspaper believes the Premier League outfit would come in for the Nerazzurri boss, who is a big fan of the English top flight.

Corriere reports that there has been no direct contact between the club and the tactician yet, but only that he’s being considered as a successor if Wenger leaves.

Mancio won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2012 but has a contract in Milan until 2017.
