Milan face strong competition from Arsenal for RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, with reports the €24m release clause could be paid in instalments.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal are in negotiations to activate the release clause in January, but for only an initial sum of circa €8m.

The other two instalments would then be paid over a three-year period.

This kind of agreement would also be of interest to Milan, who have long been pursuing the Hungary international.
