Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirms they are ‘talking’ to PSG for Leandro Paredes, but the focus is more on ‘releasing players’ who are not part of the project.

The clash with Roma kicks off at 17.30 UK time (16.30 GMT), you can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s four Serie A games on the LIVEBLOG.

This is the first return to the Allianz Juventus Stadium for Paulo Dybala, who left here in tears three months ago after the club decided not to extend his contract.

“It is only right to thank the fans, as seeing the stadium packed is a pleasure during an economic crisis,” Arrivabene told DAZN.

The Bianconeri started the season with a 3-0 win over Sassuolo and disappointing 0-0 draw away to Sampdoria.

“We’re only two games in and the treatment room is full up. We hope to empty it as soon as possible. Games like the one against Samp can happen, it was an away draw, we need to just turn the page and move forward.

“Let us forget the result and learn the lessons from the performance.”

The final days of the transfer session are coming up and Juventus are expected to be very active, especially bringing in Paredes from PSG and perhaps selling players like Adrien Rabiot and Arthur Melo.

“We’ll be happy if we are able to release the players we want to, so that we can balance things out. With regards to players coming in, we are talking to several different figures. At the end of every act in this play there will be those exiting, we hope some come in too.

“We are talking to PSG about Paredes, but need to analyse the exits carefully. We have it in our minds to confirm certain players.”
