Juventus are too big a club for Nicklas Bendtner, former Danish international Frank Arnesen has stated.
Bendtner joined the Old Lady on loan from Arsenal in the summer, but he has only started two League games in an injury-hit campaign.
“He must take a step down and choose a good club where he can rediscover the joy of playing and playing a lot,” Arnesen, now Hamburg’s sporting director, stated.
“He has said no to me twice because he wanted to play for an even bigger club.
“He must make sure he is always in the best shape and so he should be more humble and think about how he can get the most out of his talent.”
Arnesen scored 14 goals in 52 caps for his country during his playing career.
Danish international Bendtner, 25, is expected to be sent back to London once his loan stint in Turin comes to an end in June.
