Marko Arnautovic has reportedly told Turkish teams Trabzonspor and Besiktas that he is not interested in leaving Inter this summer.

The centre-forward turned 35 in April and his first season with the Nerazzurri was troubled by several injury setbacks, which also affected his EURO 2024 showing for Austria.

His role with the team is likely to be further diminished this term with the arrival of Mehdi Taremi from FC Porto as a free agent.

Nonetheless, according to FCInterNews.it, Arnautovic has turned down two lucrative approaches from Besiktas and Trabzonspor to take a new step in his career in Turkey.

He remains confident that he can have his say at Inter this season, following the €8m transfer from Bologna last summer.

Inter stuck with Arnautovic and Correa

As for the club, they would certainly not be against the idea of releasing his wages off their books or getting back some of the money spent on the transfer fee.

Arnautovic and above all Joaquin Correa are blocking the arrival of any more Inter forwards.
