Lamela, 19, wins his first call-up to the full squad after an encouraging start to his debut season in Italy. Meanwhile, 31-year-old Campagnaro has been watched by boss Alejandro Sabella for some months now.
Also in the squad to face Switzerland in a Berne friendly on February 29 are four other Italian based players.
They are Napoli stopper Federico Fernandez, Roma midfielder Fernando Gago and Genoa’s in-form striker Rodrigo Palacio. Sampdoria ‘keeper Sergio Romero will wear the gloves.
Former Palermo sensation Javier Pastore, now of Paris Saint-Germain, is missing from the party because of injury.
