Brescia ‘keeper Michele Arcari has now gone over 900 minutes unbeaten in Serie B after last night’s 2-0 win over Gubbio.
The 34-year-old has kept 10 consecutive clean sheets in the Italian Second Division while defending the goal of the Rondinelle.

Arcari actually began the campaign as the second-choice behind highly-rated teenager Nicola Leali, but was handed the gloves after Alessandro Calori was appointed as the club’s new Coach in December.
Arcari has only played in 14 Serie B games this season, totalling just 1,325 minutes.
The Serie B record for the longest amount of time unbeaten belongs to Cesena’s Claudio Mantovani, who didn’t concede for 1,251 minutes in the 1972-73 campaign.
The Serie A record stands at 929 minutes, set by Milan’s Sebastiano Rossi in the 1994-94 campaign.
