“For a while everything looked as if it was in fog,” revealed Aquilani on Sky Sport Italia.
“I asked Riccardo Montolivo what was on my head and he told me to immediately get it looked at by the medical staff, as I had a large bump.
“Fortunately it was just a nasty knock to the head, as these things can be dangerous.”
The Azzurri are adopting a new Spanish style of play. According to Opta statistics, Prandelli's team completed 829 passes against Estonia, the most by a team in a Euro 2012 qualifier so far.
“Prandelli is one of the best Coaches in the world,” continued Aquilani.
“With him it's all about the quality of our football and that is the big difference compared to previous administrations.”
The Azzurri will have two training sessions today, the second will be behind closed doors to work on tactics ahead of Tuesday's friendly.
