The injury problems continue to pile up for Roma, as with Paulo Dybala, Sardar Azmoun and Renato Sanches out, Houssem Aouar limped off with a muscular issue against Milan.

Aouar was in the starting XI for this evening’s Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico.

The former Olympique Lyonnais midfielder lasted just 31 minutes when he went down and asked to be substituted.

According to Sky Sport Italia and DAZN, Aouar felt a twinge in the flexor of his left thigh and will require tests over the next few days to ascertain the extent of the damage.

He was replaced by Lorenzo Pellegrini, who in turn was not starting because of a slight muscular issue.

Dybala and Azmoun were not even on the bench this evening, as La Joya has not recovered from the adductor problem he sustained during the 2-1 defeat to Verona.

Renato Sanches also sustained a muscular injury and is out until after the break for international duty, while Tammy Abraham and Marash Kumbulla are long-term absentees with torn anterior cruciate ligaments.
