Cesena goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli is today celebrating the 20th anniversary of his Serie A debut.

The 42-year-old made his first appearance in the top-flight during a game for Milan against city rivals Inter.

The 42-year-old made his first appearance in the top-flight during a game for Milan against city rivals Inter.

The Rossoneri won that tie 1-0 back on April 18, 1992. Daniele Massaro scored the only goal of the game.

The custodian left Milan in November 1993 and has since appeared for Pisa, Reggiana, Bologna, Roma, Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”10″>Sampdoria and now Cesena.

He’s won three Serie A titles in his career – two with Milan and one with Roma – as well as a Serie B championship with Bologna.

Antonioli has made 26 top-flight appearances for the seahorses so far this season.
