Former Milan defender Luca Antonini believes “it would have been a different game” if M’Baye Niang had scored his penalty against Roma.
The Rossoneri went down 1-0 at Stadio Olimpico last night, with the Frenchman missing his second penalty in a row.
“They missed the Niang penalty,” Antonini noted in an interview with Milan TV.
“Most likely at 1-0 to Milan it would have been a different game, but the Rossoneri can take the positives from this match.

“At the start everyone took it as read that Roma would win, but Milan showed that they’re a solid and balanced team who deserve to be where they are.
“After Roma went ahead, they closed up at the back and that shows that they were a bit afraid.”
