Luca Antonelli has admitted that he dreams of one day playing for Liverpool, whilst he assesses Genoa’s upcoming opponents Milan.
Antonelli is club captain for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side, who currently sit joint-third with Napoli with 23 points in Serie A.
In spite of having been hampered in the past by injury trouble, the 27-year-old has come back to prominence and has played a strong part in the team's success this season.
But the left-back believes that most of the credit goes to the team as a whole.

“The group is fundamental,” Antonelli told the Gazzetta dello Sport, explaining the reasons behind Il Grifone's success.
“We go out for dinner every week, all together. And even though training is hard, we have a lot of fun.
“We're having an outstanding season, but we want to keep it up.”
Asked about the upcoming game against Milan on Sunday, Antonelli admitted that he respects their team.
“They are yet another great team. They have an excellent Coach and some extraordinary players.
“I'm thinking of [Jeremy] Menez, a phenomenon, [Stephan] El Shaarawy, and [Fernando] Torres, a giant.
“Their value is not under discussion. We'll try and make use of the counter.”
Antonelli also revealed what he dreams for the future of his career.
“My dream is to one day play for Liverpool.
“Anfield is like the Luigi Ferraris, their stand is similar to the Gradinata Nord.
“But I am still young, there will be time to talk about this again.”
