Luca Antonelli felt Italy paid for a brief period of distraction in their 2-2 draw with Bulgaria.
“We started so well straight away, then conceded two on the counter. We pushed hard in the second half and got the equaliser,” the Milan wing-back told Rai Sport.
“We certainly wanted to bring home the three points, but Bulgaria were desperate and the conditions didn’t help.”

The Azzurri had to do without stars including Gigi Buffon, Claudio Marchisio, Daniele De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo, Manuel Pasqual and Alessandro Florenzi.
