Real Madrid could re-sign Brahim Diaz from Milan next summer, and according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Manchester city will receive 40% of his transfer fee if the Spaniard is then sold to Manchester United.

The Spain international scored his first Milan brace against Monza on Saturday, his fourth goal in 2022-23, one more than he managed last term.

Brahim is on loan at Milan from Real Madrid and the Rossoneri can make his move permanent for €22m next summer.

However, the Merengues can re-sign the 23-year-old for €27m, if Milan decide to sign him permanently.

According to Gazzetta, there is a clause included in his Real Madrid contract, which will allow Manchester City to earn 40% of his transfer fee if Brahim joins Manchester United from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard joined the Merengues from Manchester City in January 2019 and the two European giants agreed to add such a clause in the €17m deal that saw the Spaniard move to the Bernabeu.

According to the report, his former club Malaga also owe 15% of any future sale.

  1. Reality is Diaz could be taken back to Madrid for €5 million. Let’s hope the will of the player is to remain at Milan.
