More bad news from the Roma camp as another player has tested positive for COVID.

Three Giallorossi players are already out with the virus and now a fourth has been added to that list, putting coach Jose Mourinho in a tough position ahead of the team’s first match of 2022 against Milan this week on Thursday.

As announced by Roma, the player tested positive for COVID following a round of molecular PCR tests yesterday. The unnamed individual, who is vaccinated, is in good health and is now in self-isolation at his home.

The other Giallorossi players currently battling the virus are Borja Mayoral and Daniel Fuzato, as well as unnamed third player.

Recent reports suggest that one of the Roma first team players is resisting taking the COVID vaccine, causing a headache for Mourinho as the regulations that require players to have a green pass to compete come into effect this week.
