Paulo Dybala has picked up yet another injury, lasting only 12 minutes of today’s Serie A trip to Venezia.
The Argentina international continues to suffer from on-going muscular issues that have badly affected his career.
He called to the bench in the opening moments of the game at the Stadio Penzo and limped off after 12 minutes, making way for Kaio Jorge.
According to DAZN, this time it may well be a knee concern, as his right knee was bandaged as he sat on the bench.
It remains to be seen how bad this latest injury is, but it’s another in a long line of niggling physical issues for the 28-year-old.
This was his 17th appearance of the season in all competition, during which he has contributed eight goals and four assists.
Dybala’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season and he is asking for a €10m per season salary to remain in Turin.
Get him out, can’t even last 12 minutes. What a joke. It’s not like it comes from strong challenge, or something unlucky. The guy just runs straight and gets injured.
I hope contract is still not extended, need to let him out its terrible 10 number and its crazy to pay him such wage. Cant believe how much so expensive ribbish players now is in Juventus, need to get out dybala sczeczny ramsey and rabiot as fast as possible, all problems now just becauze of this terrible bussines… Ofcouse need to say good buy for this loanee Morata also, and not think anymore about buying him. Cant make such mistakes in player signings anymore, and buying Ronaldo really wasnt bad…
Dan, players are humans and I don’t think they like to get injured, but some are more prone to injuries ! It’s not their fault but I think Juve should reconsider giving him a new contact.
I like players like chiesa pellegrini de ligt locatelli bentancur arthur and they should be most important for this juventus team and need to get out all that rubish from them as fast as possible, bonucci and chiellini also need to look for way out they but its not necessery to hurry with them because they at least is useful and worthy in dressing room, but rabiot ramsey and sczeczny is not useful nowhere at all
Dybala shouldn’t be no.10. He is too fragile
Its mistake that he got that number, he never have reached such level to be no. 10… And we see he is not useful at all every season plays well just couple of games and mostly is injured… Cant imagine how he can ask 12 millions a season, better to go i arabian team like psg or newcastle there will can sit on bench for such money, juve is not deserved such bad bussines anymore…
Dybala is a genius second only to Ramsay. Aaron gets full pay for doing nothing. Dybala gets more money for 10 minutes of work. Give Cherubini a pay rise now lol. 🤣. 🤣. 🤣
Frequent injuries are probably due to poor medical staff and training practices. Don’t blame the player
Hindsight is wonderful. I too thought it was crazy to trade him for Lukaku at the time. I was so wrong and wanted Dybala to stay at all costs. Now injuries are going to be a recurring issue for Dybala. The contract extension is not worth it. We could lose him for nothing but I think it is better to save on the wages considering he cannot play a whole season anymore. We also have to look at the stats and his goal scoring record has never been the same. That is his only job to put the ball in the net and it would be better to get rid of him and rebuild with younger players.
Only mid table teams in small leagues would make this kind of player their #10.
Without Dybala this team is nothing. He is a wonderful player, too bad that he is prone to injuries.
