It was another great night for Italy, who qualified for the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2020, but the Azzurri will be without Leonardo Spinazzola for the final part of the tournament. Check out the social media reactions and share your thoughts after the win over Belgium.

Spinazzola’s injury was the only bad news in another magical night for Roberto Mancini’s men. Goals from Nicolò Barella and Lorenzo Insigne allowed Italy to qualify for the semifinals of the Euros, where they will meet Spain on Tuesday.

The Roma full-back is feared to have suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon and is heading to Rome to undergo further medical examinations. The 28-year-old shared a message on Instagram saying he will ‘return soon.’

Leonardo Bonucci commented on his social media post, writing: “We did it for you.”

But there are plenty of reactions from last night. England legend Gary Lineker also sent a message to Spinazzola, writing on Twitter that the Italian has been ‘one of the best players of the tournament.’

Many Italy players continued to celebrate on social media, knowing that the job is not done yet.

The Azzurri will face Spain at Wembley in the semi-finals on Tuesday. La Roja beat Italy in the Euro 2012 Final but were eliminated in the Round of 16 by Antonio Conte’s side four years later.
