New Napoli signing Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa had his first training session today and could even make his debut on Saturday against Juventus.

The midfielder arrived on loan with €15m option to buy from Fulham on transfer deadline day, but had until now been on international duty with Cameroon.

He stepped into the Castel Volturno training ground for the first time today and started work with coach Luciano Spalletti and his new teammates.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it’s not entirely impossible that Anguissa could be thrown in at the deep end for his Partenopei debut on Saturday against Juventus.

This is because the options are limited, as Piotr Zielinski and Diego Demme are injured, with Stanislav Lobotka somewhat in doubt after limping off during his game for Slovakia with a slight muscular issue.

Anguissa turns 26 in November and his previous clubs include Marseille and Villarreal.
