Napoli midfielder Zambo Anguissa revealed he will be out ‘for a few weeks’ after suffering an injury in the 3-2 defeat to Inter on Sunday.

The Partenopei lost Victor Osimhen against the Nerazzurri too, while former Fulham midfielder Anguissa revealed he will be out for some games.

Napoli star Osimhen has ‘multiple facial fractures’

After having sustained a tear in the left adductor, the 26-year-old revealed he is ‘forced to stop for a few weeks’ in a post on Instagram.

The defensive midfielder will thus not play against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League on Thursday and should miss the home game against Lazio and the trip to Sassuolo in Serie A too.

“I’m forced to stop for a few weeks,” he wrote on Instagram. “I will work hard to get back as quickly as possible.

“I will continue to support my teammates; I’m counting on you! Forza Napoli always.”

  1. He’s been the revelation of the season for me. A terrific player. It’s a been a rotten couple of days for Napoli.

I hope both Anguissa and Osimhen recover asap. It’ll be interesting to see how Spalletti copes without them.
